Richard Branca
President
Richard has been the President of Branca Properties Inc. and Bergen Engineering Co. since taking over for his parents, Inez and Barney Branca, in 1980. With more than 45 years of experience in general construction, construction management and property development, Richard guides the BPI team with his invaluable expertise. Richard is also the Principal Partner of Concord Hospitality Enterprises, an international hotel management and development company based out of Raleigh, North Carolina. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering and Business Administration from the University of Colorado and is a professionally licensed engineer in the states of New Jersey, Colorado and Texas. Richard enjoys reading the newspaper (every inch of it) and spending time with his family.
Derrick Leikness
Controller
Derrick joined BPI in 1995, and is responsible for asset management and issuance of all financial reports and recommendations related to the company. On a daily basis, Derrick oversees all financial aspects including issuing budgets, developing projections, and ensuring tax and accounting compliance. Derrick holds a B.S. in Accounting from Rutgers University and a M.S. in Taxation from Seton Hall University. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of New Jersey. Derrick is very active in his home community of East Brunswick by coaching recreational and travel sports programs. He enjoys spending any spare time with his friends and family.
